NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Please take notice that the Town of LeRoy Zoning Board of appeals will hold a Public Hearing to consider the request of Robert Bennett for an area Variance to construct a 24’ x 24’garage at 7080 Quinlan Rd, LeRoy, New York 14482. Town of LeRoy code requires 12’ setback from side lot line Proposed garage would be 6’ from the line requiring a 6’ variance. Said hearing will be held on 25 Nov 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Town Hall, 48 Main Street, LeRoy NY.  Inquiries regarding the hearing may be directed to the Zoning Office at 768-6910 ext. 223 or by attending the hearing.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the PRELIMINARY BUDGET for the Town of LeRoy for fiscal year 2026 has been completed and filed in the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of LeRoy where it is available for inspection during regular business hours.

NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN, that the Town Board of the Town of LeRoy will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 7:00 PM in the Boardroom of the Town Hall, 48 Main Street, LeRoy, NY to consider the same.

PURSUANT to Section 108 of the Town Law, the proposed salaries of the elected Town Officials are hereby specified as follows:

Supervisor – $20,000.00

Deputy Supervisor – $7,300.00

Town Councilman (3) each – $6973.00

Town Justice (2) each – (a) $31,907.00/ (b) $29,744.00

Town Clerk & Tax Collector – $60,526.00

Supt. of Highways – $80,622.00

NOTICE OF FILING OF THE TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL

(Pursuant to Section 506 of the Real Property Tax Law)

Notice is hereby given that the Assessor has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the Town of LeRoy in the County of Genesee for the year 2025.  The Roll can be examined

On the Town of LeRoy’s website after May 1st. The Board of Assessment Review will meet to hear complaints at the Town of LeRoy, 48 Main St, May 28, 2025, from 4-8 pm.

The Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Roll BY APPOINTMENT ONLY,

Every Wednesday in the month of May from 8-4 pm. I can also be available to meet

In the evening or on a Saturday by appointment.

In accordance with Section 526 of the Real Property Tax Law, a publication containing the procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the Assessor’s office.
